Who We Are
The team at Kiwi Resolutions Ltd and Kiwi Communities CIC collectively bring over 30 years of experience in the fields of interactive training, dispute resolution and client facing services. We deliver quality and effective training and support services based on the principles of Restorative Approaches and Solution Focused Practices - reducing conflict and turning problems into solutions.
We are a UK wide based training and consultancy company who deliver active learning and bespoke services for all. We focus on providing key skills which immediately improves trust in teams, reduces tensions in peer to peer relationships and enhances working or learning environments.
When conflict happens relationships often break down, this can have a negative, indirect impact on many others. Restorative approaches and solution focused practices can be used within your setting to prevent this from happening, enabling individuals to work effectively together. These processes can be used for both adults and young people.
I am a fully trained Restorative Practitioner, facilitating large-scale restorative meetings and delivering training in a variety of settings. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Social Sciences, the City & Guilds Diploma in Restorative Justice, the Level 3 Award in Education and Training and also the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. These qualifications have enabled me to work closely with adults, young people and range of professionals. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of Restorative Approaches and Solution Focused practices during training sessions and seeing the difference they make. Throughout my career, I have used these skills with young offenders in London and Kent and various settings throughout the criminal justice field. I understand there is no 'one size fits all' when it comes to solving problems, dealing with conflict and rebuilding relationships.
I have been working with restorative and solution-focused practices for over 20 years. I started my career in education and have since worked in various fields both with adults and challenging young people, using my skills to resolve conflict throughout. I completed my Restorative Practitioners training in 2005 and have repaired relationships in a range of settings including those between colleagues, clients and managing directors. I have used my skills to solve problems in large community restorative meetings, whole school settings and one a one-to-one basis. I am an accredited practitioner with the Restorative Justice Council and have also completed certificates in Recruitment and HR Management. I firmly believe in the principles of Restorative Approaches and Solution Focused Practices, it is embedded in my day-to-day processes, at home and in my professional career.
